How the daily learning programme works
Are you looking for daily inspiration to encourage your child’s love of learning? Do you want to develop their knowledge and skills with a structured programme of activities?
Introducing TheSchoolRun’s daily learning programme, suitable for parents of children aged 3-11 (equivalent to school years Nursery to Year 6).
How does it work?
The programme runs for 6 months and is targeted by age/school year.
It includes a range of activities such as:
- English, maths or science worksheets to download and print.
- Interactive maths tutorials – our digital teacher will explain the method, show you examples and then give you a chance to practise what you've learned.
- Topic-themed learning packs and workbooks to explore.
- Fun activities and games you can do at home to keep your child busy.
Sign up for the programme and each weekday we’ll send you a bite-size email with easy-to-use ideas and resources to support your child's learning at home.
Who is the daily learning programme suitable for?
The programme works well for parents and carers who are interested in helping their child learn at home, complementing lessons at school and engaging in their child's education.
It's also incredibly useful for those whose child may be out of school on a temporary basis (due to illness, travel, or other circumstances) or those who are starting out on their home education journey. This programme will keep you and your child motivated and informed about school life (such as what to expect with exams) as well as regular tips and advice for successfully home educating.
Perhaps you are familiar with learning at home and struggling to come up with new ideas and resources to add to your at-home schedule? You can use this as your daily learning 'snack' to digest and savour, filling in those gaps.
