Key Stage 1 SATs English practice papers C

By completing practice papers your child will become familiar with the SATs format and feel more confident about the Year 2 assessment process. This download (based on the pre-2016 SATs format) includes tasks similar to those required by the KS1 SATs, from reading comprehension to spelling tests.

Since 2016, children in Year 2 have taken a new style of SATs exam in English and maths to reflect the updated National Curriculum. These practice papers, available exclusively to subscribers, are based on the old-style KS1 SATs, used up until 2015, but can still be used to give your child at-home exam practice.

Commissioned by TheSchoolRun to help you and your child feel confident about the SATs format and style, this KS1 paper offers information texts and story texts to read, comprehension questions to answer, spelling tests and a writing task.
