Make your own picture Advent calendar
A handwriting, art and festive activity rolled into one: a picture Advent calendar for KS1 children to fill in and make in the run-up to Christmas.
To make the Advent calendar, print out both sheets.
Your child will need to write in the numbers and words using the handwriting guide lines, then draw pictures in each of the 24 boxes on page 2.
Cut out the three dotted edges of each of the 24 windows on page 1 so they can be opened.
Glue around the outer edges of the paper and stick page 1 to page 2, overlapping them exactly. When your child opens each window the picture they've drawn will be revealed.
