Multiplying decimals using the grid method
When multiplying a decimal over one (such as 2.4) by a one-digit number, the grid method can come in handy. By Y6 your child will know how to use the grid method and they will also already know how to multiply a decimal under one by a one-digit number. Multiplying and dividing decimals
